The Challenge

The Functional Application Manager is positioned within the HRM, ICT, IM & General Affairs Department of Stamicarbon, the Licensing and IP center for the Maire Tecnimont Group. The Functional Application Manager reports to the Manager Information Management (IM).

 

We are looking for a Application Manager to expand our team.

 

As an Application Manager you are responsible for ensuring the continuity and the development of the proper day-to-day operation and maintenance of Stamicarbon business applications, (based on Microsoft Office 365 and Azure platform), and related business processes. You have both functional and development skills for these platforms.

 

You will provide functional assistance, second line support for troubleshooting and guidance for the Microsoft Office 365 stack to key-users and monitor the day-to-day usage, process performance and data quality. You also manage RFC’s from requirements and impact analysis to acceptance testing according to Stamicarbon development procedures. And you are able to implement and develop both technical changes end-to-end. PowerShell, SPFx and API scripting/development are familiar to you.

 

Within our team, the Application Manager forms the bridge between the business and IT for all related issues. Therefore, you can easily switch between content and process and manage the adequate use and functionality for multiple end users. You are driven by your passion for supporting business processes with Information Management strategies and are willing to contribute to the further professionalization as one of our business critical applications in a fast moving international environment.

The Candidate

This position will suit a person who has gained at least 3 years of experience in a application management role covering Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, preferably in an international setting. Knowledge and experience regarding MS Dynamics is a preference. Analytical and practical thinking, strong communication and troubleshooting skills are necessary to the success of this position. You focus on customer needs while being a strong team player.

 

Furthermore, we expect from our new colleague:

 

Professional Information Management qualification (Bachelor level)

  • Keen interest in learning and developing within the field of business applications such as Cloud Platforms, Automation and BI.
  • Very good skills in: Microsoft Office 365 Platform as a developer (SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Automate, Azure services (Authentication, Functions), PowerShell and SPFx framework.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of and experience with ITIL
  • Experience in testing and implementing system configuration changes and ensuring proper delivery of planned optimizations by vendors
  • Project Management skills
  • Preferrable skills in: Power BI
  • Very good command in English (verbally as well as written, also related to writing functional description for approved change requests).
